MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
Your membership expired on December 31, 2005. The gate lock changed on January 1, 2006. If you’re 2006 dues, land fund fee, and any applicable work hour’s fees are not received by the February 14, Board Meeting, you will be dropped from the Club’s roster and will have to re-apply for Club membership. Some Associate Life Memberships are available for those who want to upgrade.
Annual Members: Dues $50, Land Fund $10 and 10 work hours or $10 for every work hour not worked. Annual Members with no work hours will have a renewal fee of $160 for 2006.
Associate Life Members: Land Fund $10 and 10 work hours or $10 for every work hour not worked. Associate Life Members with no work hours will have a renewal fee of $110 for 2006.
Life Members: Land Fund $10 and 10 work hours or $10 for every hour not worked. Life Members under the age of 65 with no work hours will have a renewal fee of $110 for 2006. Life Members over the age of 65 are EXEMPT from the 10-work hours requirement and will have a $10 Land Fund renewal fee for 2006.
Everyone: Please be sure to return your 2005 membership card with your dues and/or fees even if you don’t have any or only partial work hour credits. This includes both non-renewing and renewing Annual Members, Associate Life Members, and Life Members (both under and over 65) all with or without work hours. We need your membership cards for our records. Thank you.
It is not absolutely necessary to return your old gate key, however old gate keys in good condition can be re-keyed. It would be appreciated if you would deposit your old keys in the mailbox in front of the Club House. This action will help save the Club money. Thank you.
2006 CLUB STICKERS: All members
have received a 2006 sticker with your membership renewal. This sticker should be displayed when you
are on the Club Grounds. The sticker
DOES NOT has to be attached to your vehicle.
You can lay it on your dash, tape it to your window, attach it to a
piece of plastic suspended from your rear view mirror, or any other arrangement
you wish to use. The sticker should be
visible from the front of your vehicle.
IMPORTANT INFORMATIONAL NOTICES
NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION: Remember,
all NEW IN 2005 ANNUAL MEMBERS have to attend one of the sessions in
order to be eligible to renew for 2006.
If this newsletter has (**) in the middle initial area of your
name line, (their are approximately 50 of you) then you must attend one of the
remaining 2005 classes in order to be eligible to renew for 2006. The remaining 2006 date for new 2005
annual members is:

WORK HOURS / INDOOR RANGE
CLEANUP: The monthly indoor range cleanup is scheduled for
Saturday, February 11, @ 9:00 a.m. Dean

BASIC PISTOL CLASS: The
Club will host a NRA Basic Pistol Class the week of March 13-19. Look at the March calendar for the dates
& times. Cost is $50 for each
person. Advance reservations by March

YSSI WEEKEND: The 6th
Annual Youth Shooting Sports Weekend is scheduled for April 21–23, 2006. Volunteer HELP is needed in all areas (Ranges,
Kitchen, Guides, etc.). Reloaded
ammunition is also needed for the applicable shooting areas. WORK HOURS will be credited. Questions and/or Availability – contact Bob

TRAP
RELOADING SUPPLIES: The current
price list has been available since mid-January. Contact Dale Schroeder @ (309) 369-6569 if you need a copy or to
place an order.
OPEN TRAP/TRAP SHOOTERS: If the
temperature is below freezing on Thursday Evenings and on Sunday Mornings there
will be NO Open Trap. Open Trap will be
available if the weather is nice and the temperature is at or above freezing.
TRAP LEAGUE MEETING: The annual
trap league meeting will be held Saturday, April 1, 10:00a.m., at the Trap

Many of you newer members and some of you older members have provided the Club with your e-mail address. The Club will be e-mailing you your monthly newsletter. If you have provided your e-mail address and have not received your monthly newsletter via e-mail, please let us know via e-mail so that we can get your correct e-mail address. (Some of the e-mailed newsletters have come back as undeliverable due to a bad e-mail address) You will also continue to receive a hard copy of the newsletter, until we hear from you that the e-mail version is sufficient. The Club can then delete your name from the club newsletter printing and mailing list and save printing & postage costs.
