UNACCEPTABLE ACTIVITY

I heard from an event director this past month that when he showed up for an event on range 4, the range was covered in broken glass.  This event was attended by CSC members & non-members.  Both the CSC Ground Rules & the CSC Range Rules forbid the shooting of glass targets on CSC property.  The group picked up two large boxes of broken glass & put them into the dumpster before they could begin shooting.  I did a follow up visit to the ranges and also found used paper targets blowing around, broken clay birds on ranges other than Range 2, totally shot up wood thrown on the berms & into brush around the ranges, scores of shot up plastic bottles and tin cans, & litter (empty shell boxes, ear protection wrappers, etc.) strewn all about.  CSC rules require that you clean up after using the facilities.  If it came through the front gate with you, either take it back out with you or place it in the trash barrels provided at each range.  If you observe this type of activity, please contact a Board member with as much detail as you can.  This type of activity can ruin our open shooting policy & our image. Your help is needed & appreciated.
