Mauser Match

Mauser matches are held on the 2nd Saturday of the month, through April of 2004.

The above photo is from the Saturday February 8, 2002 Mauser match. Fourteen made the match. We had several new faces. Following the match, we met at Carl Vulture's (Dalcher) house for pizza and beer. The scores were all over the place. All had a great time on a cool winter day. Old guns, antique ammo, open sights, and wind.

November 2003 Results

Mauser Match: Despite the chilly weather, a record number of shooters participated in the November match. Results:

Mauser matches are held on range #1 on Saturdays beginning at 10 AM, and usually over by noon. The next match is on December 13th. Matches are on the 2nd Saturday of the month and will run through the Winter months. Rules: 50 meters, open sights, center-fire, 20 shots standing per relay, re-entry.

In December, bring your .22 rifle along to shoot the wooden eagle (see Sister Club News). The Vogelschiessen will be held concurrently with the Mauser Match. Call Max Koehl at 385-1033 with any questions.
